Children's Museum Future STEM Center with Planetarium

Our Children's Museum of History, Natural History, Science & Technology has 4 floors (6,000 square feet per floor) with 60 Pavillions & 1,000's of exhibits, for kids from 1 to 101.

The Children's Museum will take its portion of the proceeds from the 2012 Mayor's Ball to put it toward a STEM Center to be built in back of the museum, to house a Planetarium and more!

CM Science Saturday's: Come join us on Saturday's for Super Science hands-on activities from 10:00am to 11:30pm! For everyone interested in STEM (science, technology, engineering & math) or kids fun stuff. Activities vary.


Children’s Museum hosts Board Member Celia Domser's MVCC Engineering Club's “Second Saturday Science”.


SATURDAY ACTIVITIES:10:00am to 11:30am. There will be a different activity each Saturday. On the Second Saturday am of each month, Engineering & science students will share the joy of hands on Science and Technology with children of all ages. Other Saturday's, other Board Members will be present programs on "Our Healthy Kids Hut", "How Does a Planetarium Run?"; "What's the Difference Between Trains and Tracks"; "What are the Different Kind of Dinosaurs"; "How & Why Did the Early NY Settlers/Traders use the Erie Canal?"; "Understanding our NASA exhibits"; "What's Sustainable Energy & What's It Used For?"; "Our Living Science Room"; "Learning to Pilot a Plane",.
