Children’s Museum is going to combine its Annual Anniversary Gala
with a Community Festival of Trees! The Preview Party will take place
Friday, November 21st, 2008 at
the Children's Museum, 311 Main Street, Utica.
This event, which kicks off the Festival, marks a celebration of our
sponsors and designers and will be integrated into an evening of walkaround
hors d’oeuvres and entertainment, along with terrific raffles
and auction items! Event attendees will have the first opportunity to
view and purchase holiday items in the following five categories: 1.)
uniquely designed trees 7-1/2 feet tall, 2.)
uniquely
designed trees
3 feet tall, 3.)
designer holiday wreaths, 4.)
holiday centerpieces, 5.) holiday gift baskets. .....Then Saturday, November 22nd, 2008, the Festival will be Open to the Public from 10:00am-4:00pm. Reduced General Admission of $7.00 per person (members & children under 2 free). Visitors can view the Wonderland of Trees and Holiday Items, and bid on any that may be left over from the Gala the night before. Santa & Mrs. Claus will be there to hear children's wishes, and their elves will be there to help children write their letters to Santa! The trees will be available for viewing up to November 29th's Holiday on Main Street. We're also planning a Sunday brunch with Santa at a local hotel! .....Board Chairs Dan Trevisani, Mike Pilawa, Joe Ruggiero, Art Rapp Jr., John Stephenson, Cisco Piersma, Joanne Palumbo-Mozloom, Mark Crever, and CPA Vin Gilroy will be looking for your help on committees. Honorary Co-Chairs are Congressman Mike Arcuri & Sabrina; NYS Senator Joe Griffo & Laraine, Utica Mayor David Roefaro & Cindy; Oneida County Executive Tony Picente & wife, Oneida County DA Scott McNamara & Janice. .This benefit supports the museum's Future Vision for the children & families we serve. | .....The 2007 Children’s Museum Annual Anniversary Holiday Gala was held on Saturday, November 17th, 2007 from 6:30pm to 10:30pm at the Children's Museum, 311 Main Street in Utica, NY. Catered Menu & Full Bar; Live Music & Dancing; and a Fun Holiday Auction. Gala Co-Chairs were Dan Trevisani & Joe Ruggiero with Auction Co-Chairs Arthur Rapp Jr., Cisco Piersma, Joanne Palumbo-Mozloom, Christine Cougan-Schram. Honorary Co-Chairs NYS Senator Joe Griffo & wife Laraine, and Oneida County DA Scott McNamara & wife Janice were in attendance, along with Utica Mayor-elect, David Roefaro. ..Our one big fundraising benefit of the year, it supports the museum's Future Vision for the children & families we serve.
