Children's Museum Hot Wheels Collection & Hamilton College Volunteers

Friday, November 19, 2004 Join Mike Zarnock, Mayor Tim Julian, and Museum Director Marlene Brown as we cut the ribbon at the Grand Opening of our new Hot Wheels collection!

September 1 - October 31, 2004 Museum staff and volunteers have been hard at work with Michael Zarnock preparing for the opening of his World Famous Hot Wheels Collection at The Children's Museum. Author/writer, Mike, labeled one of the worlds leading authorities on the subject, writes Collector Guides and Articles about Hot Wheels ® toy cars. He has also been awarded a Guinness World Record ™ for his Hot Wheels ® collection. Although Michael has more than 15,000 toy cars in his collection, this record is for 3,711 different Hot Wheels model cars. The old record was 1,500.

September 16, 2004 The Hamilton College Habitat for Humanity group returned once again to the Children's Museum to work on various projects. View pictures below of their work and the results that got a smile!
