August 22nd, Friday Nite in Baggs Square Park featured wine & beer tasting, catered food, & neat art in a silent auction. It was a joyous summer evening where guests enjoyed each other's company, the beauty of the park, and toured the museum. Plus they got to purchase really neat art items in a silent auction. Tickets were purchased in the Children's Museum, or by calling 315-724-6129 & purchasing by credit card or emailing us to do so. Download flyer. August 23 & 24th, Gus Macker's 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament came to the streets of Utica, sponsored by Genesis II to benefit the Children's Museum! This is the 30th year for this family festival that has been held in over 65 cities throughout the U.S. Gus Macker made its debut in Utica this year. The limit of 150 TEAMS was met! Teams came from as far as California. Downtown Utica was abuzz with excitement. Chairs John Snyder and Betsey Snyder made it a reality. Download flyer. View their website. |
